How to adhere to the AIPA and obtain the International Press Card:

The professional AIPA registry of news operators that work as journalists, photojournalists, video-journalists, bloggers and writers, intends defining the unequivocal criteria for enrollment of media professionals in the register. The AIPA members that are enrolled in the professional register may take advantage of various concessions and advantages such as: Professional refresher courses, Doctorates, consultations, etc. The press card is released only to those associates who have paid their triennial associate dues.

All those who fulfill the following obligations may receive the AIPA Press card:

a. Journalists who have actively worked as journalists, photojournalists, video-journalists, bloggers or writers for at least a year for one or more newspapers and/or information providers, or are members of a national press association or have published at least 5 articles; photographs, video, online news, headlines, radio news, or television news. The publications can be presented in hard copy or through a statement by the director of a media.
Writers must be concerned with commentaries or news.
b. Have shown their recognition of the "Declaration of the duties and rights of the Journalist" with their signature. A 180.00 euro triennial fee is required for adhesion to the AIPA. The request for adhesion will be examined upon receipt of complete documentation. If all the criteria have been satisfied, data treatment and card production will take from 2-4 weeks.

2. copy of a National ID
3. an ID picture
4. scan of at least 5 articles or published pictures or videos or radio news or a statement by the director of a media.
5. details of payment of 180.00 Euro

Note: Data treatment and card production will take about 2-4 weeks. The card will be sent via Express mail EMS.
